DOL Issues Model Poster All Businesses Covered by New Federal Leave Laws Must Post

The new federal paid leave laws enacted in response to the COVID-19 outbreak — the Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act and the Emergency Family and Medical Leave Expansion Act (summaries here) — go into effect on April 1, 2020. By that date, covered employers (most private employers with less than 500 employees) must post notice of employee rights under these new laws in a conspicuous place.
