Jessica is a native of Gwinnett County, Georgia. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Georgia, then pursued her Juris Doctorate at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, where she received the CALI Award in Labor Law. During law school, she interned for two semesters at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission under the Supervisory Administrative Judge, where she assisted in enforcing anti-discrimination laws in the federal sector.
Following law school, Jessica took on diverse roles, including practicing in-house at a national residential asset management company, as well as gaining hands-on experience in insurance defense, tort litigation, and family law. She is also fluent in Spanish and holds a Spanish‑English Legal Interpretation certificate from the University of Georgia. In addition to her work experience, she is an officer in the Gwinnett County Bar Association and has served as secretary and treasurer.
Jessica resides in Lilburn, Georgia with her husband, dogs and cat. Outside of the office, she enjoys tending to her houseplants, hiking, tuning into podcasts, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
