Eric has extensive experience handling a variety of employment related matters. As part of his practice, Eric advises and provides guidance to clients with respect to compliance issues, employee discipline, pay equity, leave and disability matters, and the enforcement and implementation of employment policies.
He also presents training programs for members of management, including compliance with ADA and FMLA laws, and internal investigations.
Eric represents employers and management in all aspects of employment and business litigation, including allegations of discrimination, harassment, breach of contract, breach of restrictive covenants, and retaliation claims. He routinely appears before state and federal courts, and has experience in all phases of litigation, from discovery through trial to appeal.
In addition, Eric represents clients in federal, state and local agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
Prior to joining Stembridge Taylor LLC, Eric worked for a national law firm where he primarily represented clients on various labor and employment matters. He also defended clients in business litigation disputes involving contractual and product liability issues.
Eric previously served as in-house counsel for a national food service provider. In this role, he represented the company in state and federal agencies relating to employment law matters. In addition, Eric provided advice and guidance to human resources personnel and management with respect to employment issues.
